I decided to start this blog as I kicked off 2022 doing something that I have been wanting to do for years – renovate my kitchen! Right off the top, I should tell you this was my first foray into the exciting, confusing, overwhelming world of home renovations. I don’t claim to be a renovation expert, so this is just a recount of what I did, and my lessons learned. Not too many people were aware of this project, except for some close friends I involved each step of the way for moral support. I am excited to share the story of my new kitchen, which I absolutely love. I learned a lot, captured some great photos, and wanted to document the journey to share with my friends and family.
I have released 4 posts with several more to come including: demo, flooring, cabinets, counters, lighting, and hardware.
Next post I will recap the starts and stops that led me to this journey.
